The energy system is in transition towards a more sustainable, low-carbon future and many sectors such as transport and heat are turning away from traditional fuels, such as petrol or diesel and natural gas, towards electricity which can be produced sustainably. With this in mind, it is vital that we continue to understand the needs of our transmission users, customers and wider stakeholders whilst ensuring our network stays safe, efficient and effective.
Over the next few weeks and months we will continue to hold a variety of RIIO-T2 – specific engagement activity through various panels, conferences, webinars, connections and supplier events and use our online communities. You can find information on these activities on our RIIO-T2 Stakeholder Engagement Page. We have also established an independent Transmission User Group. This group has been created to formally review our RIIO-T2 Business Plan on behalf of our users, customers and stakeholders.
If you would like to be kept up-to-date with the latest information and our planned activities regarding RIIO-T2 , you can register as a stakeholder and join our stakeholder online community. We also welcome your thoughts and feedback via our RIIO-T2 mailbox.
