Where a connection is no longer required, for example a property demolition, a permanent disconnection will be made.
A customer’s electricity supplier will normally make the request for a permanent disconnection on behalf of the customer.
If the customer needs to contact their supplier to arrange for such a request to be made, the supplier details can be obtained on the customer’s electricity bill.
If the supplier information is not known for whatever reason, or there is an issue with the MPAN number, then MPAS operations can help provide this information.
