ScottishPower EnergyNetworks is the brand name for the businesses within the ScottishPower Group that own and operate our electricity transmission and distribution network.

As the network operator we maintain and repair the electrical equipment and network that connect you to your electricity 24 hours a day 365 days a year. We are committed to keeping you connected.

With around 3.3M customers we operate in a primarily regulated environment with targets set by the regulator, Ofgem.

Our assets and transmission and distribution licenses are owned by three wholly owned subsiduaries; SP Transmission Ltd, SP Distribution Ltd and SP Manweb plc. These act as an integrated business unit, with the aim of outperforming our regulatory targets and implementing our investment strategy to expand the network.

The EnergyNetworks business also includes Core Utility Solutions Ltd which was set up to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the requirement for competitive provision of connections to distribution networks.
