Yellow Weather Warning - Storm Bram, 11pm
As Storm Bram continues to bring heavy rain and strong winds, we are aware that some customers have been affected by faults on our network.
Work is continuing into the night to repair the damage sustained during Storm Bram today. Poor conditions and the closure of major access routes are affecting our ability to restore customers electricity supply quickly.
Safety remains our number one priority. High wind speeds and unsafe conditions in some areas are hampering our engineers ability to undertake repairs on the network. Where safe to do so, our colleagues will be doing everything they can to restore your power.
Thank you for your understanding as we continue our efforts in ensuring everyone is restored as quickly and safely as possible.

Remember to stay prepared for a power cut, here are some helpful tips:
Have the national 105 emergency helpline on hand to report a power cut – it’s best to save this in the contacts on your mobile phone.
For up to date information about a power cut in your area, check online at www.spenergynetworks.co.uk/postcode
Keep your mobile charged – having your mobile phone charged means you can give us a call on the national 105 emergency helpline. It’s also worth having an analogue phone as this doesn’t run off the main electricity supply.
Fridge/Freezer - keep your fridge and freezer doors closed to maintain a cool temperature. This helps preserve your food for longer, check your appliance manual to see how long items can stay fresh without power.
If you have a powercut call 105 to report it and we will keep you updated by text or voice alert messaging whilst our engineers are working to restore your power. We also have a Priority Services Register for customers who may need extra support in a power cut. Find out more
here.
