SP Energy Networks has been awarded £61.7m of funding through the Green Recovery investment programme to take forward 40 green energy projects over the next 18 months.
This new investment will create more than 650MW of electrical capacity across our networks and we expect this to enable around 500 rapid or ultra-rapid vehicle chargers and 4,000 domestic heat pumps.
