2014 / 2015 Transmission Annual Report

01/10/2015

We are pleased to introduce our second annual performance report for our Transmission business.

This document is designed to update our stakeholders, as part of our overall stakeholder engagement strategy, on the progress we are making in meeting our outputs and managing our costs. We have a key role to play in the transformation to a low carbon energy sector, and the work we will do over this price control period – the first few years of the new RIIO framework – will be pivotal.

In this context, we are delighted to set out the facts of how we are tracking against the targets and allowances we have been set. These are large-scale investments in infrastructure which are critical to the nation. It is important that our progress is shown transparently. We hope, through the clear and accessible design of this document, we are making an important contribution to this transparency.
