SP Energy Networks is carrying out resurfacing works on a section of the A78. The works follow the laying of a new electricity cable earlier in the year which is helping to reinforce the local electricity network.
The A78 Shore Road from Wemyss Bay holiday park to Wemyss Bay Road at the Co-Op will be closed from 18 August to 22 August between the hours of 10pm and 6am each day.
Diversions will be in place for the duration of the works.
A spokesperson for SP Energy Networks said: “We are undertaking works on the A78 for four days to resurface a section of the road following our work to lay new, underground cables. We would like to thank everyone for their patience whilst we undertake this work and apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
