Helicopter power line inspections programme

To ensure we continue providing a safe and reliable electricity supply, we will be undertaking Inspections of our 132kV, 275kV and 400kV overhead line network in Edinburgh and Lothian, Glasgow, Dumfries, Ayrshire, Central and Fife, Lanarkshire regions.

This is part of our ongoing statutory maintenance programme and commitment to maintain a high quality electricity supply to our customers.

The Inspections will commence mid-September 2018 for approximately 1 month, and will be undertaken by EA Technology using a helicopter operated by PDG Helicopters.
