Hitting the Road: Our 2025 Agricultural Show Roundup

26/08/2025

SPEN0011

From the picturesque rolling hills of Wales to the vibrant heart of Scotland, 2025 has been an exhilarating journey filled with muddy boots, colourful marquees, and meaningful conversations. We've had the pleasure of attending some of the UK's most dynamic agricultural shows this year, and what a remarkable season it has been!

We packed our stand, loaded our vans, and set off to engage with wonderful communities across the country. Here's a list of the exceptional shows we participated in:

  • Aberystwyth Agricultural Show
  • Anglesey Agricultural Show
  • Denbigh and Flint Agricultural Show
  • Nantwich Agricultural Show
  • Oswestry Agricultural Show
  • The Royal Highland Show

Each event brought its unique atmosphere, from the charm of Anglesey to the grandeur of the Royal Highland Show. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with farmers about network upgrades and sharing exciting freebies with inquisitive children. Being part of such vibrant experiences has truly been a joy!

Our focus this year was on farm safety, specifically concerning health and safety around electricity. We featured our popular overhead line demonstration, which helped raise awareness about the dangers of working near power lines, particularly for those operating tall machinery or equipment in the field.

We also promoted the "Look Out, Look Up!" campaign, encouraging farmers and rural workers to stay vigilant and carefully consider their surroundings when moving equipment around overhead lines. This initiative sparked engaging discussions and allowed us to share impactful tips that could genuinely save lives. By the end of the event, visitors walked away with invaluable insights into electrical safety, equipped with real-life examples and strategies for preventing accidents. It's all about fostering a safer, more informed farming community, and we couldn't be more optimistic about the positive impact we're making together.

We had a great time connecting with so many of you at this year’s shows. Whether you were a local resident, a farmer, a business owner, or just someone curious enough to stop by, your stories and insights made a real impact. We spoke with hundreds of people across the events, and every conversation, whether it was about hopes for the future, concerns about local infrastructure, or ideas for community improvements, helped shape our approach to the work ahead. Your input isn’t just appreciated; it’s essential to how we plan and deliver meaningful change.

There were plenty of memorable moments, too. Kids lit up with excitement (and actual light bulbs) with our interactive games, learning a bit about energy in the process. We saw familiar faces return to our stand at multiple shows, which made it feel more like a reunion than an outreach event. And while the weather tried its best to keep us on our toes, we managed to dodge most of the rain and soak up some sunshine along the way.

These shows weren’t just about sharing information; they were about building relationships, listening closely, and showing up for the communities we serve. We’re grateful to everyone who took the time to stop by, ask questions, share their thoughts, or say hello. It’s those small moments of connection that remind us why this work matters.

As this year’s show season comes to a close, we’re already turning our attention to what’s next. Planning for 2026 is underway, and we’re excited about what’s to come. If you missed us this time around, we’ll be back, and we’re aiming to make next year’s events even better.

Keep an eye out for updates as we continue our efforts in your area. We’ve got more to share, more to learn, and more ground to cover. Thanks for being part of the journey, and we’ll see you out in the field again soon.
