Major Projects at SP Transmission have recently successfully completed the major refurbishment of BC overhead line route in Fife.
The 5.5 km 132 kV line travels between Glenniston and Westfield Substations and is a key part of the transmission infrastructure in this area.
The major refurbishment of the 25 tower line included the replacement of conductors which will ensure the line continues to perform efficiently for decades to come, playing its part in achieving net zero.
This activity is part of the £2 billion plus RIIO T2 portfolio of projects currently being delivered and has an investment value of £4.769m.
