We have identified that Coalburn & Lesmahahgow are the relevant impacted communities and as a result are eligible to apply for this fund.
This fund is linked to the development of the Stranoch Substation and 5.9km of Overhead Lines (OHL), which is eligible for Community Benefit Funding as per government guidance.
The total amount of Community Benefit Calculated for this fund is £1,710,000
Any funding not spent across initial funding rounds will roll over into subsequent rounds of funding until the pot total has been fully allocated.

To apply for a Local Grant, please first check that the current funding round is open for applications. If applications are open, you may need to complete an Expression of Interest (EOI). Please email cb_localfund@spenergynetworks.co.uk for more information.
Your EOI will be reviewed within 5 working days and, if the project is eligible, an application form will be emailed to you.

Workshops will support communities to build successful project funding applications which meet local priorities.
