First round of consultation: COMPLETE
The first round of consultation took place between June 8 and August 31, 2015 and sought views on a broad swathe of land (a corridor) within which the project could be built.
We received more than 1,600 items of feedback. This, together with information from further ground and environmental surveys and technical reviews, enabled us to verify the corridor and start identifying potential routes for the KTR Project.
As a direct result of the consultation, we widened the corridor south of Mossdale (where it does not encroach on areas of highest environmental value) to incorporate part of the Laurieston Forest.
Second round of consultation: COMPLETE.
The second round of consultation took place between October 31 and December 31, 2016 and sought views on our preferred routes for the KTR Project.
WE have reviewed all the feedback and our full report is now available on the Project Documents page.
