Our second round of public consultation ran from Monday 12 May to Friday 06 June 2025.
SP Energy Networks attaches great importance to the effect our work may have on the environment and local communities. We want to hear what local people think about our proposed landfall and converter station site, and onshore and offshore cable routes, to help us develop the project in the best way.
During our consultation we held three public exhibitions, where you can see our plans in more detail and ask questions of the project team:
Tuesday 13 May, 2pm – 7pm: Auchtertool Village Hall, Main Street, Auchtertool KY2 5XW
Wednesday 14 May, 2pm – 7pm: Benarty Centre, Flockhouse Avenue, Ballingry KY5 8JH
Thursday 15 May, 2pm – 7pm Kinghorn Community Centre, Rossland Place, Kinghorn KY3 9SS
We are now reviewing the feedback back we have received and will prepare a Pre Application Consultation (PAC) report summarising the feedback we have received during our consultation and how this has influenced our plans. This, alongside an Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR), will accompany the planning application to Fife Council.
