EGL4 Project documents

SP Energy Networks have submitted two planning applications to Fife Council for the EGL4 project, which have now been validated. As agreed with the Council, we have submitted an In Principle application for the converter station and a Full planning application for the underground cables.

Both applications are supported by one environmental impact assessment report (EIAR) and a number of other documents. Those documents are included below for reference.

Our final round of consultation ran from Monday 12 May to Friday 06 June 2025. We produced a number of supporting documents for this consultation:

Following our second round of consultation, we have produced a report summarising feedback received and how this has influenced our updated plans.
