The developers of Enoch Hill Wind Farm requested an underground cable connection which will transport the clean energy generated at the wind farm into our network.
The wind farm is situated nearby New Cumnock, East Ayrshire and has recently been successfully connected into the nearby New Cumnock Substation located on the B741 between Dalmellington and New Cumnock.
With the ducting and cabling now completed and the connection energised, the windfarm is now generating clean electricity which feeds into the network for use across homes and business.
