Jen Davies is the Head of Workforce Renewals at SP Energy Networks, where she leads long‑term workforce planning and the development of trainee and early‑career talent pipelines across Scotland, England, and Wales. She Co‑chairs Scotland’s Apprenticeship Approvals Group and works closely with the skills sector—including SDS and EU Skills—and partners with colleges and universities to strengthen pathways into the energy industry. With over 18 years’ experience across the ScottishPower Group, she brings expertise in organisational development, operational delivery, customer insights and vulnerability strategy.

Senior Programme Manager at Skills Development Scotland

 

Terry Dillon works for Skills Development Scotland, Scotland’s National Skills Agency, responsible for the team that develops Scotland’s Apprenticeships. This involves engagement with apprentices, employers, industry and a range of other skills system partners and stakeholders. Working collaboratively with these partners and stakeholders, Terry and team develop Apprenticeships that meet employers and industry need, provide an engaging and valuable learning experience for Apprenticeships and support economic growth aligned to Scottish Government priorities .

Workforce Programme Leader at SP Energy Networks 

 

Aimee is Workforce Programme Leader at SP Energy Networks, leading the development and improvement of apprenticeship and early careers programmes to help build the skills needed for the future workforce. She works across the business to shape workforce strategies, create learning pathways, and support workforce renewal as part of the transition to Net Zero.

 

Alongside her role at SPEN, Aimee is Co-Chair of the Scottish Apprenticeship Advisory Board (SAAB) Apprentice Engagement Group, where she champions the apprentice voice and works with government, policymakers and MSPs to influence decisions on skills and training. Passionate about creating opportunities for the next generation, she is committed to strengthening talent pipelines and supporting future workforce development across Scotland.
