SP Transmission plc (SPT) transmits electricity in Central and Southern Scotland. We take electricity generated from power stations, wind farms and other sources, then transport it over our transmission network.

National Grid Electricity System Operator Ltd is the System Operator. NGESO provides transmission services to generators, electricity suppliers and large customers, and deals with contracts for the connection to the electricity transmission system.
