Glenmuckloch to Glenglass Reinforcement

SP Energy Networks are required to connect the consented Glenmuckloch Pumped-Storage Hydro and other wind farms in the area to the existing electricity transmission network.

An application for consent has been submitted to the Scottish Ministers under section 37 of the Electricity Act 1989 (as amended) and is accompanied by the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report. A statutory consultation is underway and contact details, should you wish to comment on the proposals, can be found in the Non Technical summary attached below.
