iDentify is our brand-new industry-first app now available to enable low carbon technology installers to capture and submit details of new installations connecting to our network via their smartphones instead of the ENA paper form.
Utilising AI technology and smart phone cameras, the app not only enables us to gather up-to-date asset information effectively and efficiently, but to also assess the impact of these customer devices on the electricity network.
If you are an installer working in Central and Southern Scotland, North Wales, Merseyside, Cheshire or North Shropshire, this means you no longer need to complete a paper form and can instead submit the installation details very quickly and easily to us with just your smart phone. The app’s neat user interface features a built-in maximum demand calculator and logic that provides an instant decision on “connect and notify” or “apply to connect”, and automatic application for upgrade if needed. iDentify will even inform your customers of the result of the survey and any upgrade we need to do on the network to accommodate that. Upon completion of the installation, the app will also provide your customer with a ‘Certificate of Notification of Installation’.
The app is now available for download on both iOS and Android, and can be used via desktop browser too.

- Download the app via iOS or Android and get registered
- Start sending genuine surveys from either the desktop site or the app, rather than the paper forms
- Use the app to complete installations on site
