The project management templates provided on the next page are for guidance only. The timescales published are indicative of typical historical projects delivered by SP Energy Networks; however every project is unique therefore YOUR timescales could vary significantly depending on your specific project.
We will always endeavour to complete your works by the mutually agreed “Target Date”; however this depends strongly on your timely support and participation in areas that are your responsibility. It is also important that your offer is accepted within a reasonable time period.
In addition, achieving the Target Date is subject to:
- You providing us with a copy of your construction programme no later than 4 weeks following acceptance of the offer.
- Availability of outages, plant, equipment, including telecommunication circuits, local conditions and Our agreement of your construction programme.
- Obtaining required consents; particularly challenging when third parties are involved.
- You completing your works in accordance with your construction programme.
As the Target Date may also be contingent on Transmission outages and works , we reserve the right to vary the Target Date where instructed by National Grid to do so. We will also incorporate any associated reinforcement work required to the network identified within this offer. We will notify you of any potential delays and changes to programme timescales.
A dedicated Project Manager will be appointed to your project and work with you to guide you through the process and ensure your project is delivered to a reasonable cost and timescale.
